Down with the embargos.  Mr. Rand Paul too bad your have learned very little from your dad on the causes of why they may resent us (us meaning our government). Mr. Rand Paul please look at ''What If'' by your dad Ron Paul. And stop blaming ''radical groups'' for the causes of our involvement like our typical Neo-Cons do.   He reminds me of how Barack Obama sounded before he was president. People thought he was a man of peace who had respect for the constitution!  NOT!!  ''Imminent threat'' loop holes and pinpointing certain groups is starting to stink like Obama's current foreign policy.  Funny how he sounded so different on this subject in Tampa when we saw him live. And how he is sounding a 180 before the heritage foundation.  Smells funny.   Read ''War is a Racket'' by States Marine Corps Major General and two time Medal of Honor recipient Smedley Butler and maybe you might understand the true meaning of why we get involved.  Or maybe talk to the Iraqi Veterans Against the War group or maybe talk to Daniel Ellsberg.  Your words are silly Mr. Barack oops l mean ah.... Mr. Rand.

Interesting video by Rand Paul. It may not be as "non-interventionist" as some might like, and I don't agree with everything he says, but there's alot of good points he makes. The best one is probably the general statement that we have to deal with the world as it is, not as we wish it existed.

Dear Guy,

Two weeks ago I delivered a foreign policy lecture at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C.

As I said during my speech, it's time for all Americans - especially conservatives - to become as critical and reflective when examining foreign policy as we are with domestic policy .

I believe what the United States needs now is a foreign policy restrained by Constitutional checks and balances.

A more restrained foreign policy is the true conservative foreign policy, as it includes two basic tenets of true conservatism: respect for the Constitution and fiscal discipline.

Over the next several months, I hope to spark a national debate among conservatives about the importance of returning to a Constitutional foreign policy.

I believe that's best way to make our nation safe, strong and secure for future generations of Americans.

In Liberty,

Senator Rand Paul
