Sab, its amazing that you know who my "buddies" are so well as you barely know me at all. When did I bring up the Israelis in this or any of my posts? If you don't think the Iranians are responsible for any terrorism around the world you simply are seeing or not seeing what you want. We can talk about history, ideology, etc all night. The bottom line is that some things are wrong at all times and under all circumstances - like killing innocent civilians, and persecuting people for their religious or political beliefs. Those are things the Iranian regime does on a regular basis. Its not for Americans to say who should rule Iran (or any country), but everyone who believes in liberty should speak out against such things - regardless of what our government has done in the past or might be doing now.

 Oh Dear Guy,

And the Spanish blew up the Maine?  (today proven to be false). I condone no acts of terrorism.   I find it disturbing that you would implicate me of such.  Nor did I blame  our government for all the evil in the world.  You may have me  confused for someone else.  There is a difference between ''Alleged  bombing'' just like Sadam had weapons of mass destructions or was involved with  911 was alleged and had no basis.  None of these bombings have been proven  with certainty that the Iranians did it. But what is proven is they had a  revolution and overthrew the US puppet regime.  Yes the US was responsible  for the Shah that is for certain.  This I hold our government  responsible.  And it was for certain that your good buddy Ronald Reagan  armed, trained and gave chemical weapons and fully supported a large scale  invasion of Iran through Iraq that killed thousands of people for 8 years, and  gasing kurds and Iranians alike.  It's ok he just made you feel proud  to be American right? That I find disturbing!  And you compare this  along with what's happening today with threats, embargos with a few unproven  bombings.  Let's speak with facts not with allegations. And let's keep to  the subject of this so called Christian pastor. The fact stands he is an Iranian  and only on document in the last 2 and a half years is an American  citizen.  Iran for your information has not invaded a country for 300  years, your Israeli buddies and our American government are constantly bombing  and invading other countries. I am sure you are educated in many things and  l'm not doubting your knowledge in various aspects of history and enjoy your  positive contributions on these posts. I'm not here to test your knowledge in  history or that you may know more than me. Perhaps you may?  But in this  case I'm stating to you what did happen for certain and why they might feel  apprehensive about people as such proselytizing in that part of the  world.

Sab, there is no excuse for the many hideous things the Iranian    regime does - whether its this case, or bombing the Jewsih center in Argentina    in the 1990's, or the bombing of the Israeli tourists in Bulgaria just    recently, or the countless other acts of terrorism they have directed and / or    financed. I know the history better than you - I lived thru alot if it while    you only read about it. The bottom line is you are condoning the terrorism    abroad and the repression at home that the Iranian regime practices, and    that's really sad & disturbing. For all the things the USA has done wrong    over the years we are not responsible for all the evil in the world - the    Iranian regime has to be held responsible for its actions, not because its    Islamic, not because its anti-American but simply for what it is and what it    does.

  Guy,

Saeed is not an American as you think. He was born and    raised in  Iran and only became an American citizen in 2010 to    escape  prospective deportation or dentention or use it as leverage    in  his campaign to spread evangelical Christianity in Iran. They gave    him 9 chances  but he still would not listen he continued to ''spread the    word of Christ''.  Second. You have to understand Iran's position. They    are constantly being  threatened, under surveillance, spied on,    sanctioned on, having their scientists  killed by the Israelis and    Americans, and demonized by the US and Israel.   Also during the    Shah years Islam was just about banned as a religion to be  practiced and    going to a mosque was made illegal by the Christian  backed Shah that    reigned as a dictator installed in by the US  government.  On top of    that 8 years of bombing by Iraq with chemical  weapons and artillery all    spearheaded by good old Ronald Reagan caused thousands  of deaths. It is    not as simple as ''save saeed'' Saeed is an Iranian at heart.  And he    knew very well what is going on in his country.  As far as l'm     concerned I really don't care what religion he adopts and yes he has every    right  to adopt any religion or no religion at his discretion.  But    going into a  country where they have been constantly attacked and spied    and threatened and  embargoed should give you a sense of why they might    be apprehensive of such  people.

Regardsless of your religious    beliefs, and    regardless of your opinions
on American - Iranian relations,    this is simply    a matter of liberty
being denied to an American in a    foreign    country.

Thanks
