I Started this group in May of '09 to provide opportunities for area people of all language levels to regularly chat about anything at all in French with occasional lapses into English to get our bearings.
I'm in Ramsey, but will move the group around northern Bergen County or southern Rockland County for member convenience. There are other French Meetups in Nyack, Montclair, Morris Plains, N. Bergen, and Rutherford, but none in the northern Bergen County.
To date we've met in Ramsey Panera Bread twice, chez moi once, and a member's home in Oradell once. Our fifth meetup will be in Westwood.
We'll meet in coffee shops, casual restaurants, maybe even an occasional house party. Age is no limitation, as long as you're anxious to maintain your French or to improve it as I am.
