We are now having regularly scheduled meetups every 2nd Tuesday at Robert Half Technology.
For our May meetup, we worked through converting the MS-Access Northwind database to an ASP.NET/VB/MS-SQL application, and also touched up programmatically changing the the column width of an Access form in grid view.
Our June 2014 meetup will be at Robert Half Technology's 10th Floor Annex Conference Room. We'll continue to work through our ASP.NET/VB conversion example.
We also invite you to bring a database example to share with us, whether it's a problem that you'd like us to all try to solve together, or a clever programming technique that you'd like to show us. If you bring your laptop, you can plug into the overhead projector and use WiFi if needed. If we have time left over, we'll also spend some time keeping each other up to date on the latest trends and technologies in the Access world.
Stay tuned for some upcoming low-cost workshops where we will work more in-depth on creating ASP.NET/VB/MS-SQL applications!
Paid garage parking as well as free street parking are both available. You may also walk to the office from the 19th Street BART.
We will ask for an optional $1-$2 donation to cover Meetup website costs.
