Hello, members of the East Bay Access/SQL Server meetup group. I'm looking forward to seeing many of you this Wednesday at 6:00 pm in the 3rd Floor Conference Room of 1904 Franklin Street, Oakland.
We'll be discussing the topic of getting started with VBA. I'll start off with a 20 minute presentation of how to get started using Access VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). This is the way to really automate MS-Access, get "under the hood", and customize your application the way you'd really like. It's sort of like writing a Macro in Excel or Access, except with much more flexibility and power.
We'll also have time to discuss your pet projects and tips and tricks. If you're interested in sharing with the group something you'd like to demonstrate or get some help with, feel free to bring your laptop. We'll have a projector available so that everyone can see.
See you on Wednesday,
