I have expertise in smart-grid optimization and control, the adoption of renewable energy resources, energy storage systems, electricity markets, energy efficiency, and operations research applications in power systems. Prior joining UC Berkeley, I worked at Virginia Tech on the Distribution Engineering Workstation (a computer-aided engineering environment for studying distribution-system engineering) and with the Center for Energy and the Global Environment. From[masked] I was a research engineer and software developer in EDD Inc., focusing on distribution networks modeling, power quality in power systems, energy storage operation, and grid coordinated control. I also has been a volunteer for Engineers Without Borders, working on installation and operation of solar energy systems in rural schools in Uganda.
Bring my software design experience into developing new technologies for electric network enhancement considering industrial engineering approaches.
I am a Postdoctoral scholar in UC Berkeley working on new technologies for Electric Grid optimization, control and operation. I got PhD in Electrical Eng, majoring in Power & Energy Systems and MS in Industrial and Systems Eng from Virginia Tech,2013
