Meetup at Interfaith Labyrinth Walk with Live Music in Berkeley

Free! Celebrate Spring!
Find peace. Find calm. Find hope....by walking the labyrinth at Grace North Church in Berkeley.

Celebrate Spring by walking the winding path lit by 97 candles, while musicians perform songs from many world religions and traditions.
All ages, walks of life, and faiths are welcome.

Did you know there is no wrong way to walk a Labyrinth? Walking the labyrinth, quiets the mind, for there is only one path in and one path out -- reminding us that even though life has many twists and turns, we always end up at center.

Hosted byGrace North Church in Berkeley, CA the Labyrinth Walk with Live Music begins at 6pm. The folk musical group, the "Winding Way", includes voice and guitar, violin, piano, mandolin depending on the song selections. The stellar acoustics in the hall make this a remarkable musical Walk.

The Labyrinth design is based on the 13th Century Labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral, France. Casual, comfortable attire encouraged. Bring yourself, Bring friends, Bring Family.

Program:  After the opening welcome, there are no words, only music and song. The guests are invited to walk the Labyrinth, and/or to sit and listen, to meditate, to pray -- and sing along to the beautiful music in the stellar acoustics of Labyrinth Hall.

Directions: Enter at 2138 Cedar Street, walk upstairs to the indoor Labyrinth. Handicapped access available. Grace North Church is located just one block from Shattuck St in the North Berkeley neighborhood--and so our guests often stop at one of their favorite eateries after walking the labyrinth.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
