What we’re about
This Meetup Group is about the Lean Startup Methodology developed by Eric Ries. It is centered on the implementation of this methodology to the Internet startups where participants work. Participants will be able to share their successes and difficulties of implementation with the group so as to create a learning process. We will focus more on tools than concepts, and on practice than on theory, as our interest is in the immediate implementation of these tools in our startups and the lessons learned. Examples of Tools : Minimal Viable Product, Customer creation, Customer development, Actionable metrics, Rapid iterations, Continuous integration, Split tests, 5 Whys... Because of the format and the focus on implementation, participants need to be actively involved in an Internet startup - not just think about creating a startup. To facilitate networking, we prefer that participants work in Internet startups based in Berkeley, around Berkeley, or in the East Bay All this is pretty open.
