Bill Alexander, PhD, Business Coach
Bill Alexander has extensive marketing and business development experience in the semiconductor and software industries. He has driven the technical and product marketing of ASIC product lines at National Semiconductor and also managed the ASIC product lines over their life cycles at LSI Logic, doubling revenues to more than $1 billion in 5 years.
Bill is a strategic marketing executive with a successful track-record managing product life cycles, maintaining clear product positioning and positive corporate image. Bill is recognized for driving technical product and corporate marketing programs. He is highly skilled in introducing new products to market and improving customer and partner relationships for business development. Bill has proven abilities to work with cross-functional teams to solve tough business issues. Bill is adept at building and directing teams to achieve goals and results.

Bill has experience introducing new products at start-up companies and has grown semiconductor, software and service businesses successfully. Bill can write and implement marketing plans and business proposals that penetrate existing markets, capture market share and open new markets.
Bill has the ability to get results with minimal support and resources. His corporate and product marketing abilities have also been demonstrated at Monterey Design Systems by building the marketing team to nine members, growing the company from 100 to 200 employees in 18 months, merging with Aristo Technology, raising VC funding to the tune of $25 million and establishing the company as an industry leader.
He currently uses his business skills and knowledge to help many small to medium sized business owners as a business coach. Bill has a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK.
