Here is the suggested format that we recommend you use:
Who are you and what is your background? (5-10 seconds)
What is the problem that your product is solving? Or, begin with a story. (10-20 seconds)
Explain the product and how it solves the problem. (10-20 seconds)
Who do you need on your team (a developer, marketing, designer)? (5-10 Seconds)

Q: What is the dress code?
A: Feel free to dress as you wish. Typically, there's everything from very casual to highly professional and everything in between.
Q: Does everyone that attends get to pitch?
A: No! Some are curious, some want to watch, some come to pitch, and some decide during the event to pitch!
Due to the limited number spaces, and the high volume of applicants, the organizers reserve the right to select pitch participants.

He also practices in the area of angel and venture fund formation. Roger is widely published on technical tax topics, is a regular speaker for the California CPA Education Foundation and has been an adjunct Professor of Taxation (Property Transactions and International Taxation) for Golden Gate University. Prior to founding the Royse Law Firm, he practiced with the Silicon Valley law firms of GCA Law Partners LLP (formerly General Counsel Associates LLP) and Berliner Cohen, and the New York City office of Milbank Tweed, Hadley and McCloy. Roger is an active member of the American Bar Association Tax Section and Business Law Section.

Jon Soberg has over 17 years of experience as an investor, entrepreneur, and operational executive. Prior to joining Blumberg Capital, Jon held CEO, COO and CFO positions at several startups, and has built large organizations from the ground up in several companies including Ditech, Broadband Digital Group and Adforce, which had a highly successful IPO. A CFA Charterholder and adjunct faculty in the Wharton Marketing Department, Jon has consulted for top companies including Toyota, HSBC, Neiman Marcus, Capital Group and Accenture. Jon started his career in technology at CMU’s Field Robotics Center.
