If you're anything like me, you're a busy East Bay girl who could use more gal pals. After a few post-college years in Berkeley, I still find it difficult to find those close female friendships I enjoyed while in school. There's a bunch of awesome girls in this area, I don't see why we can't all be friends. ;)
This group is for women ages 21-29 in the Berkeley/Oakland area who are ready to make new friends over some delicious food and drink! Three or four times a month we'll set up an affordable group outing where we can all get to know each other and have a generally awesome time. If you're fun-loving and friendly, you should definitely join us!
If you have attended at least 2 dinners and are interested in co-hosting an event, please shoot me an email. Of course, anyone is welcome to suggest a new restaurant or outing using the "suggest a meetup" feature.
*If for any reason I believe a member is acting in a way that is not in keeping with a fun, friendly and open atmosphere for the other members of this group, I reserve the right to remove that girl from this group.*

Lastly, besides asking for basic respect and kindness from all members, I have a few RSVP rules for this group to make sure all events run smoothly:
1) As of June 2012, I am experimenting with charging $1 for dinner RSVP's. I have had quite a few last-minute dropouts, and it's unfair to all the girls on the waitlist when that happens. I will only refund this payment if a girl gives me a 24-hr notice.
2) If you know you cannot make a dinner please change your RSVP no later than 24 hours before the scheduled event.
3) If you have RSVP-ed "yes" to a dinner, and do not show up without giving me prior notice, I will email you with a warning.
4) If you do not show up to a dinner a 2nd time without notifying me first, I will remove you from the group. I want to give all of the girls in this group a consistently great experience, and ensure that everyone gets the opportunity to attend a full and lively event. Also, most of our dinners involve reserving large tables at small restaurants, and it's unfair to have them hold that table if unnecessary.
