Walk and Explore Ashridge Estate

Join us for a brisk Sunday walk around the amazing Ashridge estate. We will be meeting at the War Memorial car park which is not far from Berkhamsted Castle (1/2 mile). From here we will be taking a route through Ashridge Forest until we reach the popular Visitors Centre and Monument where we will stop for some light refreshments in the cafe. We will then continue on past Ashridge Management College taking in more local sights and then head back towards home. I expect the walk to be approx 10 miles and take around 4 hours to complete. The ground underfoot will be muddy in places so come prepared with good footwear. Route is mainly flat and the walk is suitable for dogs.

New members are always welcome.

Meeting time is 10.00am for 10.15am start.

Hope you can make it.
