Microcontrollers and Electronics

These meetings are about learning microcontroller programming (devices like Arduino and Raspberry Pi), principles of electronics, and circuit design. Absolute beginners welcome.

If possible, please bring a laptop for working with Arduino sketches. Also if you own them please bring any Arduinos, breadboards, etc.

Note about the location: You can park in the side lot of the building. The entrance is on the right side toward the back, with a yellow clip on it. The website for Shire City Sanctuary is

We try to make a small donation to Shire City Sanctuary each time that we use the space. If possible, please bring a small amount ($1-$5) to donate. This is similar to buying a coffee at Barnes & Noble when using the cafe for meetings.

    Good meeting! I enjoyed discussing the math, even if we didn't get that much done. I'll try to remember to replace the batteries on the multimeter. Having that working might have helped with our discussion of I=V/R. I'm also going to go through Khan Academy on electricity this month (although I say this to myself every month).
