Brewbaker IPA, a green Lager in Qingdao (Tsingtao), Brewbaker Weiße (Berliner Art), Seopak Oatmeal Stout (Craftworks in Seoul), Eschenbräu Rauchbier (aka vegetarischer Schinken. Not very tasty but memorable), Kwak
Brewbaker IPA. It sparked my current interest in high-hops ales. It has a very distinct taste and is still my favorite IPA to date. And it gets some extra credit for being a local brew.
Currently: Rather bitter ales with a lot of hops. But my favorite beer styles change from time to time. A few months ago, I'd have said Weizen.
Good because it sets a certain minimum standard for quality and roughly defines what a 'beer' is. Bad because it stops variation and experimentation. In my opinion, it should be succeeded by more modern, liberate guidelines that give brewers more headroom for variation.
Hi, I'm a software guy from Berlin. I'm also one of the very last Berlin natives in Berlin. I like to get around and wherever I am, I try to find small breweries and good coffee.
