Once again, HACKERS UNITE!
We hope everyone is fine and you’re still hacking awesome stuff. Hack & Tell #6 is getting closer and we know you’re looking as much forward to it as we do.
This time, the Pizza is on our sponsor 9flats. Thanks guys!
For the upcoming issue of Berlin Hack and Tell we brewed something special for you: A GDD-Edition. As many of you are aware the Google Developer Day will take place in Berlin for the first time ever. As much as 2,500 developers will come to our city to learn about the latest and greatest in Google tech.
The Berlin Google Technology User Group (GTUG) along with fellow GTUGs from Germany planned a whole weekend with Bootcamp and Hackathon around this major developer event. And guess what - Berlin Hack and Tell happens to be the kickstart of this awesome weekend of learning and hacking.
So if you have hacked something related to Google technology like crazy maps stuff, using the prediction api or something related to android. Or did you just use the app engine or Go for your latest app. Either way we would love to hear about it!
Again there are not many rules, but:
- You get 5 minutes to present in English
- people can ask you afterwards
- NO PURE SLIDEDECKS ( 1 is ok :) ), only Demos + Code
- This time: Your hack has to use Google related technology/API/framework
ATTENTION: As this is an event of “firsts” we also encourage you to preregister your talk at [masked] in order to let us plan better. We’ll try to fit in spontanous presentations as well but we can’t promise anything. So if you really want to show off your latest hack send us a quick mail with a 3 sentence description and a title. Thanks.
Please save your spot through the meetup site because this time we expect to have even more visitors as for this weekend berlin will be packed with developers all over the place. Make sure you come or free your seat if you can’t.
HACK THE PLANET!
Tobias and Stefan, your Berlin Hack & Tell organizers
