Berlin Hack and Tell #10

Hackers unite!

After a longer break we'll meet again to show what we've did the last few weeks.

GREAT NEWS! The guys of HitFox are sponsoring our batch of pizzas and will be joining our meetup. Let's give them a warm welcome.

There are not many rules, but:

  • You get 5 Minutes to present in English
  • you or your team should have built it yourself
  • people can ask you afterwards
  • NO PURE SLIDEDECKS, no pitches, only Demos + Code

If you come, tell us through Meetup. If you want to present, tell us in the registration form. And if you have feedback please send it to [masked]. Our relaxed event will only as good as everybody makes it. Bring your hacks and your friends and join us for the evening.

HACK THE PLANET!

Cheers,
Tobias, Keith and Stefan, your Berlin Hack & Tell organizers

    Hi,

I forgot the name of the guy that talked at the flea market about sharing a room at an amsterdamm trip and an office space in Berlin. If so get in touch with me fb.com/neetzel or [masked] Thank you a lot :) !

So Keith already uploaded some pictures ( http://www.meetup.com/Berlin-Ha... ) and have a few people added their info to the summary thread ( http://www.meetup.com/Berlin-Ha... ). I'm sure you can help out with completing both, right?

My first time at Hack and Tell. Very cool projects, a reasonably fast pace of presentations, an interested audience. I really enjoyed the event, and plan on coming here again.

It has become are really crowded event, which takes a bit of the fun. But apart from that a very entaining event as always.

As always, very inspirational and connected to a lot of new people.

Most of the presentation were good and fun, only a couple were a bit dull. The flea market is a nice idea IMHO.

Connecting laptops to the beamer seems to be the major source of trouble and slowdowns. Maybe this can be "parallelized", that is, one presents, while the next prepares his/her laptop?

Ok, the reserved seats were given to the longest waiting signups. Everybody else: Please change your RSVP if you know you can't make it and if you're still on the waiting list, be patient - a few people will change their status tomorrow and you'll get an email if you're in. See you tomorrow!

We added a few people from the waiting list to the "YES"-group because they wanted to show something. Want to demo something, too? Ping us!
