A discussion on Personal Freedom and picnic in the park

Join us for a discussion and picnic in the park - well, since the weather is not looking so good, we will meetup at:

Aufsturz, Oranienburger Str. 67

We have the conference room reserved, so we will have a wonderful place for a good discussion, without interruptions!

The topic will relate to aspects of personal freedom and choice (see also in the comment section). Feel free to bring along some creative ideas on the topic :)

Looking forward to meet you!

In case of rain, the location will be changed on the day. I'd advise you to check this page before leaving home and/or feel free to contact me on:[masked] or Balach on:[masked] if in doubt.

Remember to bring something to sit on if desired, drinks and snacks to share, outdoor games/bats 'n balls etc. and positive energy to encourage some warmth and sunshine!

Here are some questions to get you thinking before we meet up on Saturday:

What does the term ‘personal freedom’ mean to you?

      - Do you think that the amount of personal freedom people experience in your country/country of your choice has changed over the course of your lifetime? - Do you think that gender, age, race/ethnicity, religious belief, sexual orientation, social status or other factors determine the amount of personal freedom you can experience in your (chosen) country?

      - How should the amount of personal freedom that you have be determine or by whom, if at all?

      - In case of a clash, whose freedom is more important and who determines that?

      - What do you think of the following: ‘Individuals must be forcibly restrained from doing certain things for their own good; otherwise we would become a chaotic society where debauchery, illicit relationships and alcohol were commonplace. The result would be anarchy.’
