Berlin Fete de la Musique

This is the day when anyone with an iota of musical talent (or those who think they have talent) can come out and celebrate Music in every form to entice the sun to come out and play. Celebrated in 340 cities around the world, it promises to be a city wide street fest. So Id like to focus on the area around Warschauer Strasse:

And then cross the bridge into the Kreuzberg area for a little more variety.
There will be 15 open air stages on the Friedrichshain side and 12 open air 3 indoor on the Kreuzberg side so definitely feel free to explore after we have met up. The first location I would like to hit is the Badehaus at 17:30 for Rue Lascar (french cajun swing sounds pretty fun). I will set the exact time for the meetup and how to find me closer to the date.

Hello Folks, UPDATE: Thanks to the overwhelming amount of wine I consumed last night there will only be one meeting time at 19:00
Meeting Point : At the bottom of the stairs in front of the double decker bus that has been converted into a bar. To find it exit Warschauer Strasse and head to the right towards Revaler Strasse. Right after the kabab/food stands (before you hit the corner) there will be a set of metal stairs on your right (second set of metal stairs) with a double decker bus at the bottom. I will be on the right hand side at the bottom of the steps.
I will be at the meeting point from 19:00 - 19:20
I will have a square red and beige sling bag, and a pink umbrella (never know if its gonna rain).

I am going to the Lovelite venue to hit the 18:10 and 19:15 bands. If anyone wants to join me there, I will be at the Warschauer S-Bahn station at 17:50 and will wait till 18:00 against the railings on the right side just BEFORE you reach the food stands as you are exiting the S-Bahn (not U-Bahn) station stop. I will have a brown windbreaker with me and will be wearing jeans. Alicia will meet others at the double decker bus as previously mentioned at 19:00 and then come over to lovelite.

Hi Beth and everyone else, Im glad there has been so much interest. Unfortunetly I only have a work phone so I cannot give that out. If you can make it I strongly encourage you to meet at either one of the meetup times if you would like to hang with the group.
