An introduction to Peace Innovation

Speakers

Mark Nelson, co-founder of the Stanford Peace Innovation Lab, will talk about technology facilitating emerging and measurable social changes toward Global Peace.

The Berlin Peace Innovation Lab will present their future plans.

Agenda

5.00: Welcome + 'check in'
5.30: Presentations + Q&A
6.30: Networking
7.00: Bye!

Background

Stanford Peace Innovation Lab global network develops quantitative, predictive, computational systems and methods to sense engagement levels and interaction quality across group boundaries.

The Peace Innovation Labs then provide design frameworks, principles and methodologies for Persuasive Technology interventions to measurably increase positive engagement, at scale.

This approach to global risk management is primarily preventive, positive and generative rather than remedial or punitive, rapidly scalable, and rapidly optimizable. Most important, it is fundamentally profitable to both sides of potential conflicts, which enables global capital markets to reallocate assets towards the solutions we develop.

Limited space

50 people can fit in the room

Steven - I respect your view but don't share it. I think this chat brings more value, if networking starts right here.

Peace Innovation to me would be using the latest tech and new ideas to remove barriers to peace. Lack of understanding and a have/havenot economy are two I want to tackle.
