Demo your Project(s) to Find Co-founders/Supporters

This meetup is for demoing the project(s) you are working on to find

Co-founders/supporters or to get honest feedback from the audience.

Depending on the number of people who will be pitching each person will be given 5 minutes to pitch his project and sell it to the crowd, followed by a 3 minutes Q&A.

It does not matter whether your project is a consumer or enterprise product. Your project though should not just be an idea on paper, but something you are currently actively working on. Only projects which have not been formally established as company (i.e.  in this case not more than 1 year old if established as a company or not publicly well known) will be accepted to pitch. All that counts is you come to pitch it well to convince potential co-founders/supporters/partners/designers/software engineers/product managers and get harsh free feedback from the audience ;)

To speed things up all pitches should have the same format.

Only  pitches in the specified format will be accepted (PDF-format, max 5 pages):

  1. Slide 1: Project Name, what is the project about? What is the future product? Target Countries
  2. Slide 2: Team members, history of the project, current statu
  3. Slide 3: Product details, wireframes, demo, tech stack, APIs, technical architecture, programming languages,  live code, etc. (you can do live demos  here during the presentation)
  4. Slide 4: Relevant market, market size,  target market segment in launch country,  potential revenue models
  5. Slide5: What kind of suppoerters/partners/co-founders are you looking for?

If you want to pitch, send us your pdf file latest 3 days before the event (deadline: March 23, 11pm Berlin time) to: "berlin+startupculture+@+gmail++com" (exclude the plus signs)

Yes, a great event. If anyone is learning German and wants to critique my app:

    Look forward to future events.

Have you already presented your app before real german beginners? Your app has a very specific customer group. Maybe there are some events for absolute new-comers or some special school classes for people who do not speak a word german. Bodo

    • Hugo R.

yes, it's not meant for absolute beginners - but rather a bit better than the run-of-the-mill verb conjugations apps. Hugo

I enjoyed the evening and learned a lot. Forty.to, Municipality with KiezGezwitscher.de (is the name right?), the 80 years old GrandMa story (awesome), MadeGrid (or MakeGrid?), CleanBerlin.org (gonna try it), Alexander's patient companion app, xuats.com or xtuas.com Microsoft virtual machines provisioning, software for automatically handling financials at Startups, so many people looking for opportunities, practically offering jobs, so many people challenging the status quo!. Amazing. Keep going, the future is yours. Thanks to Michael and Xavier for organizing this Meet-up, thanks to everybody that participated.

    1. Many people asked to push the submission deadline for the pitch slides to this Sunday, March 24. So we have pushed it to this Sunday, March 24. 2. Please note that only people who submitted their slides to the e-mail listed above will be allowed to pitch on Tuesday. The slides do not have to be fancy, but have some structure in it as proposed above.

    3. Bayer Pharmaceuticals will be hosting us on Tuesday. We are very excited to be at their office on Tuesday.

    Thanks,

    Natale Thomas (p.p.)

I still intend to invest in b2b as a Business Angel and just found a way to complete a finance round by domestic and international subsidies (start ups/SME (KMU) in Germany and/or EU and/or Russia). 3 Preconditions : empathy for international co-working with cross border startups and or SME (KMU), technical innovative idea, ability for short term decisions as there is a restriction of time.

Furthermore: I intend to invest in two other startups where an asp and/or php developer in part time is requested (russian language welcome as well). Don’t hesitate to contact me within the next days.
