Come Show Your Work: Part II

  • Feb 13, 2014 · 7:30 PM

Lovely meetup we had this evening, let's do it again! We only got to see 1/4 of the projects you guys are working on, so let's do a repeat performance and see what the other 3/4 are doing! Hopefully, this is incentive for myself and a few others to make some progress on our apps in the weeks to come.

Joining us will also be Brio Taliaferro who'll be speaking about getting jobs in iOS development. As he just got a dev job in London and is moving soon, he's happy to share his wisdom!

Bring your (updated) apps and your iOS questions and see you all soon!

Hi, I have a special iOS Problem and want to ask you for help. Maybe someone had the same problem in the past.

I want to make a wifi connection directly in my app. Search for an Access Point (AP) and directly connect to it without going over settings. Is this possible?

On Android there is an option for this and I remeber that the WLAN TO Go App from Telekom could do this, too. I haven't found a solution for it. My google research said it wouldn't be possible. So any idea's?

    Thx for help,

Sry, if its the wrong possibility to ask the group, but I don't see any option to ask the group.

Thanks a lot for the presentation! I think you've also mentioned some jobs offer links. Could you please post them here as well? Or I misunderstood you?

hi everyone, if you've not been to co-up before-- it can be a bit confusing but basically what you should know is-- there are two very big gates and in between some other businesses. if you come a little late the gates are likely closed but the gate on the right-side has a small door. if the door is closed, stick your hand in and try to turn the handle, if it is locked, call me![masked]

once you are in "the compound", co-up is the building on the left-most side, so go through the walkway, and left through the next walkway and co-up is right in front of the white mailboxes, we'll be meeting on the 5th flr. see you all at 19h30!
