Word about the Trail:

Woo-hoo, it's that time of the year again! Last year we somehow managed to get through 12 drink stops and it seems everyone went home in one piece. So let's try to copy that this time around. Make sure you have at least a snack to eat before showing up!

This week's Trail is overwhelmingly walker-friendly. Running is allowable, but will be frowned upon and duly penalized. In any case, come dressed warm in your finest "season's greetings" Hash gear, and don't forget to bring a shot glass or you will be assigned one not of your choice! Also, we will be doing our year-end awards for everything from "Hashing Excellence" to "Pooper-scooper of the Year". So get out your knee-pads, helmets, and barf-bags and get yourself to the Bern HHH this Wednesday!

SPECIAL NOTE:

If you'd like to clean out your liquor cabinet and donate a bottle of something wet, sticky, and strong, feel free. But if you do plan to bring something, try to let me know ([masked]) so we have an idea of how many bottles to get and so we don't get something you're already bringing. The stickier and more exotic, the better! However, we are not opposed to non-sticky if you wish to provide a divergement, something we might actually enjoy. Not that I really know what that means. Also, if you have an idea for an award and something to donate as the award, bring it along and let me know!

How to get there:

Get yourself to the Bern Main Station. Head for the main hall where the big schedule board is. The meeting point is directly in front of the schedule board.

Driving to this Hash is strongly frowned upon. In fact, it's illegal.

Hey there. I'm an American hasher who will be over in Switzerland for the holidays. Any chance you guys will be having a run between the 20th and the 28th? Or perhaps there are some other kennels in the area? I'd love to hash abroad!

HHHi Holeminer's Daughter! Technically we are supposed to have a Hash on the 25th in Bern, but it's not certain if it will take place yet. We have a potential Hare, but we want to make sure there would be someone there. Otherwise, I believe there will be a Hash on the 26th in Basel and Zurich has weekly events. Check out Basel HHH and Zurich HHH on meetup for more info., probably not out for another week, though.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
