Due to Friendship Festival we have scheduled on Feb 28th, This will be February's effort in helping at St. Mary's Food Bank. The last Saturday of March will be our March effort. Yeah...just go with it. There are other Meetup Groups joining us again. We are getting over 120 people now signing up to attend these Saturday events so that is great!

Edit: Unfortunately, there is another group booked for that afternoon and we have to limit the RSVP's from what we normally would. My apologies, but we will still have a group of 80 people there from Meetup.

If you are a member of multiple groups please sign up with only one group so it is better to keep an accurate account of how many people we will have. If you RSVP as "Maybe", please confirm at least a couple days prior to the event. If you do not, your RSVP will be changed to a "No". Thanks for your consideration with this. We had a number of no-shows and last minute cancelations for this last event, so please be considerate of the fact this is an organization that is relying on the numbers to show up that I give to them at least a day prior to the event.

We will be working the assembly line packing boxes or bagging potatoes, apples, oranges or whatever they need us to do. This will be a noon to 3 pm event. The minimum age limit is 12 years old. I encourage those with teenagers to bring them as guests. It is a great event to expose your kids to volunteering and seeing how important it is to help those that are in need. After we are done we can stop somewhere for a beverage and bite to eat.

Please make sure you are there by 12 pm as they only have the volunteers stay until 3. We may be doing a special raffle drawing for those that attend this event. I will keep you posted.
