ASHKON: Here in the Dark

There is another ROCK TONIC theatrical concert coming up at the Cutting Room that very theatrical...and very concert in form.  There's many of you who've yet to meet the group so I thought everyone could get there at 9:30 to eat and meet and then see the show at 10pm.  Here's what the show is about, it's a little like VH1 Storytellers, but way more theatrical...and awesome!

Bay Area actor/singer-songwriter/MC, Ashkon Davaran recounts tales of love, loss, and YouTube fame, through a unique backdrop of rock n' roll, hip-hop, soul and the spoken word. Directed by Shakina Nayfack.

Special guests include:
Rebecca Naomi Jones (American Idiot, Passing Strange, Murder Ballad), Leslie McDonel (American Idiot, Hairspray), Shaina Taub (Natasha, Pierre And The Great Comet Of 1812), Natalie Wachen (Rent Off Broadway, Boardwalk Empire), Lauren Marcus (Pregnancy Packed), Rachel Lee (Joe Iconis And Family), and Vinny Pavlish on violin.  There will be opening performances by Shaina Taub and Lauren Marcus.

Monday, September 30th, doors open at 9:30, show starts at 10pm.

Tickets are $15
