Best Buddies is a movement towards understanding, acceptance and integration for people with developmental disabilities. Founded by Anthony Kennedy Shriver over 20 years ago, Best Buddies creates one-to-one mutually enriching friendships between people with disabilities and those without.

For many of our disabled citizens, social isolation can be a huge obstacle to overcome and destructive to their overall quality of life. Through Best Buddies, we can break down the wall that prevents these special citizens from blessing our lives and create a friendly environment that promotes unity and embraces equality.

This meet-up is designed to support the group activities of Best Buddies Nevada and open the door to a safe and positive social environment for all to enjoy. Activities can be created and managed by our generous volunteers within the middle schools, high schools and colleges, work places, special interest groups and Best Buddies leadership.

Together, we can change this world one friendship at a time.
