Photography enthusiasts have been getting together for years and we thought it would be fun to declare a Worldwide Meetup Everywhere Day where people from around the globe could get together, share photo tips, and take pictures together. This isn?t about getting together at a meeting room and swapping old war stories or arguing about which is better, digital or film. No, this is about getting people out in the field and shooting together. Its about sharing experiences and techniques with each other. This day is about getting together. Then after, together we can all share and celebrate our achievements!
Meet at 2:00pm at the Ventura Pier in front of Beach Tacos on Saturday, November 19, with Holly and Mark Jansen from Jansen Photo Expeditions. Bring your camera, your tripod, lenses, anything you want to be a better photographer and be prepared to have some fun!
We will be starting at the pier and walking down the promenade towards the Ventura River Mouth. Catch the surfers, the waves, the sunset, the flora and fauna, anything that catches your fancy! It will be fun and interactive and it's FREE!
