Upcoming Meet Ups and Other Stuff

Hello, fellow lit lovers...

I have missed some of your smiling faces at the last few meet ups.  I hope life allows you to join us for a discussion soon, as I truly enjoy every one of you and all you contribute to this group!

I am looking for more book selections so I can make a new poll.  Please feel free to email or text them to me.  I have a new job and a new phone number with it...702.806.7554...You can email me at [address removed] or [address removed].

Please join our Facebook page if you are on Facebook.  :)  I still post there and feel a bit like I am talking to myself.

I also wanted to take a bit of space in your email in-box to remind everyone of what we have coming up on the calendar.

March 16th we are meeting at Panera on Eastern to talk about Ordinary Grace.  I am liking this one, and I think it will make for a good discussion.

On April 7th our Monday night meeting will be Locke and Key...a graphic novel.  I just bought it this morning, and it made me feel so YOUNG to be walking out with a grown up comic book.  ;)  Seriously, this is not a genre I have ever read, but I am really looking forward to giving it a try.  I hope some of you will be game for it as well!

April 27th, we are going to be at the Panera on Ft Apache and Trop to talk about The Handmaid's Tale.  I started this one, and she has QUITE the tale to tell.  We have a nice group already signed up for this one, but I hope some of you can join us.

May 5th will see our Monday group discussing a non-fiction piece, After Visiting Friend's:  A Son's Story.  That recommendation has been on the list for a while.

May 18th we will be discussing The Goldfinch.  I haven't even bought that one yet, but I will finish it.

Thank you for making this group successful!  You are appreciated.
