Uphill skiing & downhill snowboarding (splitboarding joke), moderate hiking, backpacking, rafting, kayakamping, drinking beer
Hiking the Zion Narrows in a storm. The water was murky/unclear. We had internal frame backpacks with necessary items packed in drybags. One step dropped into nothingness and I floated downriver. The drybags floated up, pushing my head into the river. Fortunately I did not have to wait too long to get to a point where I could stand again. Another great story is hiking the Baldy traverse in 1990 with my snowboard from Snowbird to Alta. 20 years ago, there was no such thing as a Sugarloaf lift or Mineral Basin. Alta was a good ride!
Fall is my favorite, I think. I love the colors, and the crisp air that invades the warmness left from Summer. September is my favorite month. It has the perfect weather for this area. And best of all: NO BUGS
wakeboarding (done it once already), kitesurfing, snowkiting, paragliding, speed flying, heli-boarding
Planning meetups, reading, pretending to be working, working at Pfizer
Rappelling, downclimbing, snowboarding & glissading. Always looking for the fun way down.
