To Celebrate BTT's Third Birthday we will hike both the North and South Loops of the Whispering Pines Trail at Hawn State Park.

This is a Moderate to Difficult trail.
We are NOT hiking a marathon, rather taking our time to allow for off trail exploring and photos.
There are several Geocaches in the park.
Two are off the main trail and will add to the nearly ten mile trek, should anyone care to seek them out.
This will very likely lead to a bushwhack. After all, we have to live up to our Name.
There are several stream/creek crossings.
If we have a rainy spring, expect to get wet at these crossings.
Wear: sturdy, comfortable shoes (Waterproof recommended)
Bring: PLENTY to drink, snacks and lunch if you like. We will take breaks.
Trekking poles or a walking stick are recommended.
You will have the option to complete only the North Loop if several of you do not wish to hike the entire trail.
NO pets please due to the group size.
