Bhagwad Gita (Also known as Geeta and Gita) is the ancient Sanskrit sacred text that contains the philosophy and principles of spirituality, along with explanations of the working and states of mind.

This group meets fortnightly for 90 mins. on Sundays and studies Gita in the context of modern day scientific discoveries, the highly inquisitive mind and the real life spiritual experiences.

The group is open to all students of Gita.

If you have a desire to learn Gita, or would like to have your family members get introduced to Gita in a informal yet exceedingly clear manner, please join the group and give us the privilege to discuss and study with you.

Our teacher Mr. Harsh Chopra has been called a “Spiritual Guru who does not live in Himalayas” and teaches practical spirituality based on his own spiritual experiences and the teachings of the great ancient sages.

He is concerned with spirituality in the modern context and therefore explains the ancient concepts in a manner that makes sense in the current world.

He is an Engineer by education, has been working in various fields as senior consultant, and is currently employed as a Manager in high tech area.

He has been teaching Bhagwad Gita since about 20 years and has taught regular study groups in India, in the Middle East and now in Canada where he has been conducting Gita studies since about a decade.

We are all familiar with some of the reasons why Bhagwad Gita is not very well understood.

One of the main reasons being the explanations that are given in traditional ways which sometimes do not seem to be relevant in today’s world.

Other reason is that the explanations are not clear and somehow sound far fetched; making us disconnected with the knowledge and wisdom that is presented in Gita.

Harsh Chopra strongly believes that Knowledge should be ‘owned’ and not ‘borrowed’

Let us all join him in this journey of Bhagwad Gita for Modern Mind.

Blessings.
