Tonight we'll conclude Exodus and make a plan for how to approach the three remaining books of the Pentateuch: Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. These books are so dry and "nuts and bolts", it's the most efficient way to get through them. We will look for themes and pull those out to discuss and if we want to stop and analyze particular verses, we can do that. We could devote a week to two themes we can find and see what we all come up with. We’ll also see if we can come up with some sessions that are "miscellaneous". Read the discussion thread Exodus 26-31 for an example.
I want to study and dig into the bible, but I also want our analysis to be meaningful. I can't see subjecting our members to 2 hours of study on biblical measurements and fabric swatches for curtains.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
