Ok, thanks for letting me know, guess Ill have to pass. Unless some other lower int, riders want to join forces and do a moderate ride?? Anyone??

Thanks Josh, I got in late and did not see your post until after 8:30 am when the ride had already started... I am wanting to ride with others since I am unfamiliar with these trails, and I do not want to ride alone on trails that are risky. Can I organize my own ride through the group? Or who could I ask to organize a low int, ride? Or, can I just put it on the "conversation" like this and see who is up for riding on a given day?

BTCEB offers Ride Like a Girl Rides with two levels and Galas with many levels. I believe you have attended those rides so during the social you can talk to people about other possibilities. Also, certain other venues are more adaptable to a wider variety of riders.

Some of the more modest riders from the last H&F Chabot ride will find this well over their heads.

This is going to be a strong intermediate ride, strong for the fitness aspect, intermediate for the tech stuff. There are two technical parts of the ride to note, first being a fairly steep section of fire road heading downhill on West Ridge Trail. The other mentionable technical section will be a descent on Cinderella Trail at Joaquin Miller. There will be an option to circumvent this trail, as a ride leader will offer another option. From an uphill standpoint, there will be a strenuous section from the bottom of Redwood park, up Canyon Trail. If anyone has any questions regarding being a good fit for this ride, feel free to hit me up!

I won't be riding on Sunday since I have a conflict of interest on another riding group. Have fun and stay safe out in the woods!

I was one of those modest riders from the last H&F ride, it was hard, but I had fun. Thanks for the heads up, I canceled. I look forward to doing more rides in the future.

Hmmmm..sounds like an advanced ride? Anyone going that might be more intermediate?

Hi Kim! This is definitely more of an "intermediate" ride. The terrain varies from easy dirt roads to some slightly technical singletrack. There will likely be several options regarding the more technical parts of the ride. And, more important, it's a no-drop ride. We all stay together and it's a good time. Would be great to have some more ladies out there as well. Hope you can make it.

My 2 cents... don't drop, I'm with you on this. I like to think I am a solid intermediate, but I truly do not have a good comparison. If I can't keep up, so be it. I don't mind waiting up, but I really do not like to be waited on. So the rest of you... don't! I've got a map and I'll get there eventually! Worse case, I'll see back at the parking lot. :-)
