Ride Like A Girl (RAG) is a ride just for women and sponsored by BTCEB. The idea is to have fun and develop a mtn biking community to provide a voice for mtn biking in the East Bay.
This is the 2nd RLAG ride this month and provides a less technical alternative to Saturday's ride at Waterdog. However there is a bit of climbing initially (about 400' in 1.5 miles) so the ride is appropriate for women with some climbing ability/endurance. After the climb, we will roll along wide singletrack, with partial views of the bay if the weather cooperates. The mostly out and back route is only about 8 miles but we can repeat the fun section which goes through the woods and which was specifically built for mtn bikes and is a super-short super-fun stretch of ST! Plan on about 2-2.5 hours of riding.
As always, bring a spare tube, water, etc.
Hope to see you there! Questions: email Amy
