Fully supported rides - police at major intersections on race ( 26 mile ) route, on-route motorcycle support, experienced sag support, great aid stations, medics, post-ride party.

The 50 mile recreational tour is a great family ride set in the San Marcos area. The route is on farm to market open roads so participants must obey all traffic laws and watch for traffic. The route will have several aid stations stocked with food, drinks and a port-o-pottie.

The tour is not timed, and the jalapeno's are not involved. You are more than welcome to stop and enjoy the aid stations, but the jalapeno eating is not part of the tours.

26 Mile Jalapeno Race, 26 Mile Regular Race And Tour
The 26 mile JALAPENO race will have 2 aid stations stocked with Jalapenos for every Jalapeno you eat ( 2 minutes ) will be deducted. Cash awards

The Regular 26 mile race is to race flat out and see how fast a time you can turn in. The intersections will be manned by Police however you must obey their instructions. Both races will have age group awards, 0-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ ( 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards for Male and Female )

The 26 mile tour will follow the same route as the 26 mile race. The tour is not timed, and the jalapeno's are not involved. You are more than welcome to stop and enjoy the aid stations, but the jalapeno eating is not part of the tours.

Thursday, July 31, 2014 - Soler Sports - Stone Oak - 4-7pm
Saturday, August 2, 2014 - Race Site - San Marcos River Ranch 3301 Scull. Martindale, TX 4-8pm
Race Day - Race Site 5:30am - 7am Sag wagons and Motorcycle riders will be on route as well as medics.

Races will be chip timed and live results will be available on Monitors at the timing trailer.

Post Party will be set in a park alongside the San Marcos River. Sausage Wraps, Fruit and other goodies will be available. Athletes eat for free, spectators can eat for a $5.00 donation.

    Aari and Bill... CONGRATULATIONS ON PLACING! Aari placed 1st overall in the non-jalapeno eating 26 mile ride, and Bill placed 3rd overall in the 26 mile jalapeno eating race. Bill at 25 jalapenos! That's my man!

      We did this ride last year, and I don't remember it being terrible.. I really enjoyed it! Thinking of doing David's ride.. we skipped it last year.
