Big Data Warming Beers

To be scheduled as soon as possible, a first meetup would be great (I'm opened to suggestions for the place, remember that there must be beers around, let's keep it informal).
An overview of the state-of-the-art can be appropriated for the first meetup. A few ideas on the topics we can talk about:
1) Hadoop and Storm: How to combine them? Have you seen recent talks by Ted Dunning and Nathan Marz on the matter?
2) More on the same: Lambda Architecture by Nathan Marz, what do you think?
3) NoSQL versus NewSQL: What's happening with the scalable databases world? Isn't it going too crazy? Aren't there too many of them around? Which ones did you use with success and how?
4) Is Big Data a Big Buzz anyway? What is Big Data?

concerning the meeting on Friday Evening:
The Mommsen-Eck is right in the heart of Charlottenburg.

Hindemithplatz) It is quite easy to reach from U Adenauerplatz and S-Charlottenburg.If we are around 10 initially I will perhaps reserve a table because on Friday evening it might get crowded later (lots of cinemas and nice places around).
Pere already posted some nice topics to talk about. I think we should talk about them in reverse order and start with 0) by introducing ourselfs. Happy to meet you all on friday evening!
