Please join us in volunteering for Cradles to Crayons on Tuesday 11/20/12 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 noon
Cradles to Crayons endeavors to provide homeless and low-income children with the essentials they require to thrive. They do this via over 300 social workers, who contact children and families in need.
The "Giving factory" is where the needs are processed, and clothes and supplies for children in need are put together, utilizing incoming donations.
We will be helping sort out predonated clothes and toys. The tasks are fun and may range from testing out toys(my favourite), sorting clothes/shoes or preparing outfits and ready to go bags. Our efforts significantly impact the underprivileged children of the area.
The closest T stop is Warren Street, B line-Green(about a mile away).
We will be volunteering 10.00AM - 12.00 noon
155 N. Beacon Street
Brighton, 02135, MA
Thank you for your willingness to help make a difference.
UPDATE: Cradles to Crayons has 800-1200 requests per week from Oct-Dec(thrice their normal volume) for clothes and supplies, and are reaching out to us for help. Let us go help fulfill this need, the clothes and supplies from Cradles to Crayons maybe the only clothes the children have and we do not want them waiting too long.
Also, if you have children's clothes/toys/books that you would like to donate, please do bring them along.

Hi Mike, There is plenty of parking a couple of blocks down the street, specially reserved for Cradles to Crayons. Please join us if you can.

I'd love to volunteer, but is there parking available? I'd be driving in and I don't have a resident sticker to park on the street.

I would like to bring a couple of my high school students to help out. They are part of a Leadership Team and have requested doing some community work.
