Vienna Waits for You! Great Ride for Everyone (short and long options!)

Join Bike and Brunch as we take to the W&OD Trail starting from the scenic Vienna Town Green across from Whole Foods on 123 (Maple Ave.) in downtown Vienna - and head west.  The forecast is for sunny and 65!   There will be lots of options for long or short rides.  So this is a perfect ride for anyone wanting to start with a comfortable distance!  The terrain is pretty flat.

MEET AT 10:00. LEAVE AT 10:30!

We really hope you come out for this and meet some fellow Bike and Brunchers. There is ample parking on side streets or in a small lot on Church Street (parallel to 123 but one street over), next to the Caboose.  We'll gather around the fountain in the Town Green where there are public bathrooms. Whole Foods and the trail are visible from this spot.

Following the ride we will get lunch from Whole Foods and either eat it on their picnic tables or take it back across the street to the Fountain area.

You must wear a helmet on all Bike & Brunch rides and sign the Bike & Brunch release form.  Recommended equipment includes riding gloves, spare tire and water bottles.  Please bring an identification card, money and your health insurance card on the ride.

Blue skies, cool air, smooth trail, beautiful views of woods, streams, and ponds, about 25 miles round trip, good conversation at lunch--all in all, a great ride. Thanks!

I think we're going to have beautiful weather:

ZERO rain, cool conditions, light winds (6 mph), very low dew point 24 F (which means excellent evaporative cooling), and mostly sunny...

This is almost absolutely perfect for cycling!

I don't think the weather will be an issue for this ride.

      Can't wait!! :-)
