We're 'All In' at the Annual Jewish Film Festival Movie and Reception

We are really excited to announce our choice and location for this year's Jewish Film Festival Reception: the Argentine romantic comedy 'All In' at the Navy Memorial on Pennsylvania Avenue across from the National Archives.  This is a wonderful location, rich with history and easily accessed by Metro or plentiful street and garage parking.  The reception will be at 7 and the film at 8:45. It will cost only $10 for the evening.

Please sign up here and we will get back to you on how we will do tickets. We are very grateful to the DCJCC's Washington Jewish Film Festival for their cooperation.  We hope you support them throughout the Festival - Jan. 3-13. I believe they have Elliott Gould coming in person for another film plus an evening at the French Embassy.

We would love to get a huge turnout for this and start the New Year right! Also look for a December Happy Hour where we will be selling tickets.

To clarify: We sold the first 40 people to sign up group tickets. After that, we advised people to go to the WJFF Website to purchase a ticket. At this point, either you were notified by us that you are 1 of the 40 or you bought a ticket online. If you do NOT have a ticket, they may be selling them at the door. We won't know until we get there.

I'm new to this group. will there be a way to find you all easily once I get there? thanks and sounds like fun.

Once the all the other people go into the theater for the 6:30 show, we should be the only folks in the exhibit area. And it's not that big.

Important: for those people who have NOT heard from Val or I personally about tickets, you need to purchase a ticket thru the WJFF website at https://www.boxofficetickets.com/go/ticket?id=1212035&k=8bb67ec1ee
The cost is just $12.55, I believe, and that will cover our reception as well. (We've sold out of the group tickets we bought.) There might be tickets at the door, but no guarantee. We have a great group signed up, so it should be a lot of fun - the reception theme will be Argentina! Contact me if you have any questions.

How do the rest of us get tickets?

    December 27, 2012

    • Ronn

I've been getting confirmations from people individually because we are holding some tickets at the door. If you have not heard from me and would like to commit to buying a $10 ticket, please let me know. It saves you a couple dollars this way and helps us. If you go thru their website, that's ok too. - Ronn

I am interested in this film...sounds good, and would like to join the group. My concern is I may not have enough time before having to confirm. I do have a commitment in January and wouldn't want to dissappoint. Will there be a notification?

    November 23, 2012

    • Ronn

Yes, it will sell out but you don't need to make a decision yet. We will let you know when.

Wow, interesting title. I first thought that someone had already turned Paula Broadwell's book into a movie.
