Super Spin Classes!

During the Winter Cycling Seminar held recently at Spokes Etc. in Vienna, we learned about the really cool and high-tech spin classes offered there. Equipment used for these classes consists of the system made by RACERMATE. Up to eight people can ride together as a group, each using their own bike. All participants ride the same course (there are over 200 courses to choose from) and the course scenery, and ride data is projected onto a very large screen. Each spin machine is individually programmed providing a personalized experience for each participant.
These spin classes are very popular but are offered only at the Vienna location. During the winter months they are typically filled to capacity week nights (M – TH) and Saturdays. The normal cost for the class is $20.00 per person per session.
Here’s the good part… Spokes Etc. is offering a special deal for Bike Me DC members. During the month of February, Spokes Etc. is offering members of our groups a special group rate of $10.00 per person per session!
So here's the deal...
- Cost is $10.00 per person, per session. You pay as you go so you only pay for the session(s) you sign up for.
- Space is limited to a maximum of eight (8) seats, on a first come, first serve basis.
What you should to bring...
- Your bike
- Your regular cycling clothing
- Water or other drink for hydration
- Towel (you're going to get good workout!)
Other Things to Consider...
- Because of the limited number of seats available, no shows will be tarred, feathered, and run out of town!!!
- Although unlikely, some bikes, usually those with high-end or custom wheels, may require the purchase of a different skewer for the rear wheel in order to fit on the Computrainer. Spokes has these available for approximately $19.00.
