Bike Me DC members John Brock and Taylor are riding in the Best Buddies DC Challenge in October as members of Team Little Rascals. Come out to Sully's Restaurant and Bar in Chantilly to support our team, enjoy an afternoon of great music with friends and help us support programs for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
GREAT MUSIC FOR A GREAT CAUSE
We've put together five great acts for an afternoon of music, food and fun with friends kicking off at 12:00 noon and going until 6:00 PM.
Our headliners are The Nighthawks (http://www.thenighthawks.com/), winners of the BMA 2011 award for best acoustic recording. The "Hawks are a legendary blues and roots rock band. Check out their website to hear sound clips of their new release "Damn Good Time" and other classic Nighthawks sounds.
Nashville singer-songwriter Lisa Dotolo brings her captivating voice, catchy lyrics and unforgettable melodies to the stage at Sully's. Lisa has been influenced by artists as diverse as Olivia Newton-John, Natalie Merchant, Jewel, Sara Mclaughlin and Eva Cassidy - but her style is all her own. Check out her new release "Someday Soon" on her website: http://lisadotolo.com/front.html
Teenage sensation Theycallmepiano (http://www.theycallmepiano.com/) has appeared at Leesburg First Friday, Jammin' Java and is currently on tour in Florida. This young lady is a rising star and puts on a show you won't soon forget.
The Thrillbillies and The Last Chance Garage Band are also appearing and will keep the music going.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 day of the show. Children under 12 are free (this is a family friendly show). All ticket sales go to Team Little Rascals to help us meet our goal of raising $10,000 for Best Buddies. To purchase your tickets in advance and support Team Little Rascals, use this secure link:
