We're getting hacked!
NYC is an amazing place! Our friends at EcoHack 3 < http://www.ecohacknyc.org > happen to be planning a hackathon the same weekend we were thinking of throwing a #BikeNYC hackathon. Additionally, they are all about data, maps, visualizations, citizen science, and sensors! As our goals and interests are alined, we are partnering with them to embed a #BikeNYC themed track within the #EcoHackNYC weekend. On November 9th and 10th, we'll head over to Brooklyn and get our bike nurd on at #EcoHackNYC.
Additionally, we are working on having representatives from Transportation Alternatives, CitiBike (aka Alta Bikeshare), and NYC.gov talk about their desired improvements, and how we can make them make NYC eGO!
