A group of us are meeting at MD Science Ctr at 8am facing Inner Harbor. Then we will head to Carroll Park to get started on the 36 mile route. We are a flexible laid back group. Our pace is conversational and probably slow for most. Anyone is welcome to join.

I am riding over to Carroll Park from Canton Sun am but have never ridden on Washington Blvd. Does anyone have suggestions for an alternate route to get to the park or feedback on taking Wash Blvd to get there?

2 more questions, the website says the rides start between 8:00 - 9:30. Do you know specifically what time the 25 and 36 mile rides start and what time people should arrive at the park?

I believe registration starts at 7. You can really leave whenever you want. You will have a cue sheet, and there should be markings on the street to help guide you. If you wait around for groups to gather (my guess is they will be leaving on the half hour) you will automatically be riding with people, and naturally find people who ride at your pace. The longer the ride, the earlier you will want to leave. (don't miss out on the BBQ - I've had some good veggie burgers in the past.)

Oh, at least I see it starts at eight but still, how are you meeting at inner harbor?

We meet there bc it's a convenient spot for the group to meet before we hit gwynn falls. It's not part of the official route.

Hi everyone. I have worked this ride since it's inception. I will be helping out with small repairs at the start in Carroll Park. I wouldn't mind at all if you all stopped and said, "hi" before you pedal out......thx........penny
