The second loop was great but very quiet. I think I saw/passed 4 bikers in the whole 50 miles. It was slower too ;). The mid-way rest stop was awesome too. Lots of food/drink items to choose from.

Hi all! I'm sooo excited about my first group ride! I'll do the 50 mile route. But this is my first event since I joined, so I'm not familiar with the routine. Will we meet up at registration? What's the confirmed time? Any info or suggestions would be great. I look forward to meeting you all:)

Hi Shellyshell, We are going to meet around 7 am and try to get rolling around 7;30 am. We are going to start as a group and if someone wants to bolt they can and we will meet at the cookout afterward again. We will make sure everyone has someone to hang with during the ride. See ya there.

Hi Sigi, I will be just doing the Fifty. I would like to ride as a group at least for the start. I am going to be there at 7 am to get registered and can take off at anytime. What time works for you? 7:30 or 8 am? 15 mph sounds good to me. See Ya there should be a nice ride.

I am fine with either 7:30 or 8:00. Since you're going to be there at 7:00 let's plan for 7:30 unless someone really wants to start later.

What is the plan? Are we all going at the same time and ride together? Or do we all leave at the same time and ride at our own pace and just meetup again afterwards? I was thinking of doing the 50 mile loop followed by the 30 mile loop. My average speed for a long ride is usually around 15 mph.
