Bike to Bluegrass Fest and Ecofest in Druid Hill Park

Biking is the best way to travel in this city, especially when there is a large event clogging roadways and parking. There will be 2 events in Druid Hill this day. With one of them being Ecofest, a part of Baltimore Green Week, why not be eco-friendly and bike there? With enough riders, there can be smaller groups leaving and heading either back to S. Baltimore, or to other neighborhoods.

How many miles will your guys ride tomorrow? I hurt my right ankle several weeks ago, can not ride too far

Fay, I'm sorry to hear that. You know that we will be going up hill for the ride, right? Druid Hill Park is at a higher elevation than So. Baltimore. The ride itself is short - just about 5 miles, and there is no reason to ride fast.

    Hi all,
According to the weather forecast, tomorrow morning should be fine. I'll see you all at the shop at 10:30am, and we should have a nice bike ride up to Druid Hill together. Post a message here if you live somewhere along the way and would like us to "pick you up" as we go. thx

If i have a friend that needs to borrow a bike is that possible? I think I had done this with Light Street in the past?

We rent bikes, and sure, your friend can do that.

Excited about these events coming up. If anyone is biking from another neighborhood to Fed Hill, go ahead and post and maybe there will be someone else biking from there and you can bike over together.

I will be at work in the morning, so this ride will come from So. Baltimore. If people want to get together from different neighborhoods and bike straight there, just start by posting here, and I can post another meetup to ride to the events.
