Volunteer for Biltmore Marathon

Let's get together a group of Annual Pass Holders and volunteer to help out at this event.  If we get a group together, we can be stationed together - like at a water station, an Aid station or something else.  I'll be posting more information as I get it.

I'll plan on being there and being the coordinator for this event.

I agree with Pawnee - very cold, sometimes quite windy, but was fun to help out. I talked to Daphne, the organizer, afterwards and they are interested in our feedback from helping out and would be interested in our group helping out next year as well.

I'll plan on being at Antler Hill Village by 1:00. I'll have my phone with me. The marathon begins and ends in Antler Hill I'm told.

Hi Pawnee - I'll plan on being there before then, I'm hoping that we'll be able to get to Antler Hill Village and find out our assignments. I keep checking the volunteer website as well as my email, but so far, have not seen where we are supposed to meet. According to the only map I've seen, it does start and stop at Antler Hill - like you said.

I got my reminder today from the Biltmore Marathon, but it still didn't tell me where we are supposed to meet. If you guys have seen a location of where we volunteers are supposed to meet, please post it here. I'll try to do some more research or get some more information and if I do, I'll post it here. Looking forward to see those of you that can help out.

Oops, forgot one step - after you click on the link below, you have to put in your email address, but you do not need to actually register with the site.

    See you Sunday!

I got some more information. They would appreciate it if we could show up after the race to help clean-up, pick-up signs, etc.
The time on the volunteer sign-up is for 1:00 pm, which helps those that couldn't be there early or stay all day. The water stations, etc., were already adopted by groups before I thought of this. Maybe next year we can get an early jump on this and set up a water station just for us.

To volunteer for Race clean-up, go to this website: http://vols.pt/qnpogL

Scroll to the bottom for Race Clean-up and sign up there. I put a comment in the comment box about our group - so you can verify that you're with the right group. I have not heard yet as to where we meet, etc., but will put that information here once I do.

I realize this is last minute, but I this is all the information that I have right now.

Hi Laney. What do you advise? Could there be some else to help coordinate the volunteers from BEAP?

I don't know for sure the exact times, so I just put 6 am to 5 pm until I heard more. I'm assuming that it will be early in the morning, since most marathons are. I'll update as I get more information. Even if you are only available for part of the day, it'll still be fun to have us volunteer as a group together.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
