Introduction

I'm a Boulder-based writer and consultant. I work primarily with life sciences companies and tech startups, and I used to work in a regional CIO role in Europe supporting international sales and marketing companies for a big pharma.

Please tell us a bit about your current and historical work history.

My most recent internal role was with AstraZeneca. Since then I have worked alongside CRM and BI integrators for large pharma companies in New York and California.

What is your speciality? (e.g. Regulatory, Sales, R&D, Biz-Dev, Manufacturing, etc.)

Most of my life sciences work has been in pharma IT in support of sales and marketing, and I also have worked with discovery and development groups. I did a few presentations in recent years about the opportunities and pitfalls in implementing ELNs.

What do you hope to gain from attending the BioBeers Meetup events?

I'm new to Boulder and only recently back permanently from Europe. I'm hoping to find a community in life sciences that are doing cool things and being social.

How far are you willing to travel to attend a BioBeers Meetup? (e.g. Boulder to Denver, Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs, etc.)

Within an hour of Boulder if beer is involved.
