Member and Safety Orientation

BioCurious Member and Safety Orientation starts at 6:00pm with a member orientation for new and potential members. This is followed by Safety Training. At safety training, you will learn the safety protocols for the BioCurious lab.

BioCurious members must have member orientation and safety training prior to lab usage, and volunteers must have training prior to staffing.

Our safety training is free and open to the science-interested community. We would be happy to show you around the lab during your visit.

Training is led by Kristina Hathaway and Mark Kent

Time: 6pm - 8pm

If we want to attend the "Bio-luminescence community project" - do we need to be trained for this?

      Hi Irene,
There is no specific training required to participate in the Bioluminescence Community Project, though it is a good idea for you and your child to go through the lab safety orientation.
