Biolab Automation & Robotics Community Project

Getting carpal tunnel from pipetting? Be a part of the robotic uprising by making the robots work for you in the bio lab.

If Arduinos, sensors, and open source hardware engineering are your thing, please join us for our first Biolab Automation & Robotics (BAR) Community Project meeting.

We will explore all aspects of lab automation. Our goal is to create flexible platforms that perform most bio lab techniques. Come discuss what you'd like to contribute, or let us know what kind of systems you'd be excited to get access to.

Or we'll make an automated pizza extruder.

Wanted to come, but somebody caved in my windshield with a lawn chair last night for no good reason, so I had the surprise of no legally driveable car this morning. :-(

Haven't done bio anything in years, but hacking on stuff comes naturally and robotics is a personal interest.

I've got nothing to contribute, but would like to learn. Is this still a good meetup for me?

Yes. We are pretty hands on. So just show up and see what is going on.
