Taught by Mark Kent
Leonardo da Vinci was a true polymath of the Italian Renaissance: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer. Among the pictures in his notebooks was a bridge designed to be quickly built or dismantled by soldiers; the beauty of the design was that the bridge depended solely on its structure for its support: no nails, glue, or rope was required to hold the pieces in place. Pieces could be assembled from available timber, or they could be carried on mules.
In this class, as a class we will work to build a daVinci Bridge together.
