Saturday Science: Pinhole Cameras

1pm to 3pm - Taught by Mark Kent, MS

Geared for ages 7 and up, please wear closed toed shoes in the lab.

What will we do?

Pinhole Camera
Essentially a pinhole camera projects an image onto a screen. The device consists of a box or a room with a tiny hole in one side. Light from outside the box/ room passes through the hole and strikes the interior surface; the image is upside down, but is reproduced faithfully in terms of color and perspective. The image can be projected onto paper, and if traced will provide a very accurate representation.

Price per child attending

$20 for members of BioCurious*

$30 for non-members
